What Happens When You Flush The Toilet?

Have you ever ask yourself, what happens when you flush the toilet? Well, if you’ve not, I have. It is not weird to ask such a question especially as a kid growing up. You won’t help but wonder what goes on inside the toilet anytime you press the flush button.

When you flush the toilet, the wee, poo, toilet paper, or anything inside the toilet will go down the toilet pipe into the septic tank. The pressure from the water which comes out when you press the flush button will push all the things inside the toilet down the drain pipes and travels down into the septic tank where it won’t affect human health.

There are several reasons behind this article. I remember when I was a little boy, I remember asking my mother this same question. She did give me the exact answer I wrote here. But recently my sister visited and guess what my nephew asked; “what happens when you flush the toilet paper?”

I guess he was curious about what goes on when someone flushes the toilet. He saw when I flushed the toilet and couldn’t help but ask and it was really funny.

Moreover, it is not weird if an elderly person asks something like this. This is something one should know from when he or she is still much younger. But, if an elderly is still asking the question, then it’s OK. No one knows it all.

Things We Do Inside the Toilet

Trust me, apart from pooping, urinating, washing, and bathing, there are several other things we do inside the toilet that only you or your partner in crime knows (LOL). Some people like making out while in the shower. Since most homes come with a master bathroom that has both toilets and a shower, they do a lot of things inside there.

However, the major thing we humans do inside the toilet is to poop and urinate. Suppose the toilet is a master one with a bathroom/shower, that means, you can also bath and wash inside there. I have a master bathroom. So, I do a lot inside there (LOL).
